This track was a stepping stone in between two others, "Am Permutations" and "Geometric Rhythm," both of which were released as part of "Dolphins in the Wind".
It sat around in my computer for years, unreleased, but I couldn't bear to part with it. Those two tracks don't necessarily seem related at all without this one, and I found this too interesting to toss away.
So then, when I started throwing lost tracks online as "Leader of the Heathens," this was one of the first things included.
I still like playing "Am Permutations," this, and then "Geometric Rhythm" all in a row, in order. I think it's neat.
Perhaps you should try it, (though, as I write this, the other two aren't up on this site yet. They will be soon).
