The title of this album is a joke. It came from a misunderstanding of a misunderstanding of the title of a National Geographic special being made at a place where I worked. It was like a game of telephone, only in print.

I don't know what the special was really called, (or even, to be sure, what it was about), but by the time I was to create the labels for the tapes, it had become "Dolphins in the Wind".

Anyway, everyone involved had a good laugh over that, and I decided to keep the title for myself.

The cover art is an extension of that joke.

The album was originally a double, and intended to be available through the old mp3 dot com, which, by the time the album was ready, had become defunct, due to yet another misunderstanding.

Whatever.

Misunderstandings and jokes aside, it's a pretty nice collection of work, spanning a handful of years.
